Hello and Welcome! I offer a warm and empathetic space where you can be heard and seen. We work together with whatever maybe troubling you, and go at your pace. Together we can discuss what you would like to gain from having counselling, you can voice your thoughts, worries and any problems. It could be overwhelming thoughts, a racing mind, panic attacks, anxiety, depression, bereavement and loss, abuse, trauma, or PTSD. We try and gain awareness of what is going on for you, look at ways to support you, and hopefully empower you on your way.
I work in an integrative way, with a person centred approach, with your mind, body, and spirit. I have a Diploma in Humanistic counselling and have trained with the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute, which aids me in working with the body. I include the body in therapy as both a source of information and a target for intervention, growth and healing.
I was once ill and in a low place. I decided to get some counselling, which was really useful. Sometimes choosing a counsellor can be a bit daunting.
