I see individual and couple clients with a wide range of issues. They include problems within relationships, parenting issues, bereavement, stress at work, low self-confidence and more. Often a client might feel a loss of hope and meaning in their life; they might have problems regulating their moods or coming to terms with aspects of themselves and decisions they have made. By coming into therapy, they seek to build a trusting relationship in which they open up, explore, let go of difficult emotions and complex thinking and beliefs.
I have worked with hundreds of clients in the many years of my practice. I am able to engender trust, and communicate an understanding of what a client is trying to express, so that they can feel truly 'met'. This allows for us to work at depth.
I am confident that whatever situation you find yourself in; however disturbed, alienated, ashamed, disappointed or lost you feel, we could find a way of connecting. That is the key for the work to begin. I will be respectful of whatever state you find yourself in, giving you the space to freely express yourself whilst also presenting other perspectives.
