I am an HCPC registered Counselling Psychologist and BPS Chartered Psychologist. With 14 years clinical experience including 10 years offering psychological therapy in the NHS, I am experienced in working with a wide range of issues (see below). I have extensive experience working with trans, non-binary and gender diverse clients and a particular interest in perinatal mental health. As a Counselling Psychologist I am trained in various psychotherapeutic approaches and in therapy-related research. This enables me to work with you to find an approach that works best for you as a unique individual with your unique life experiences.
My way of working is to explore together your current difficulties, develop shared understanding of how they may have arisen and support you to find a way of moving forward, ultimately to live life in a way that is meaningful to you. Fundamental to this and my primary focus is developing a therapeutic relationship in which you feel safe, heard and accepted.
