I am an integrative therapeutic counsellor and a member of the BACP. I believe strongly in creating a safe, collaborative, creative space to explore underlying issues from both the past and present. I work drawing on a range of theories that I feel best suits who I am working with. I specialise in depression, anxiety, lacking in purpose or meaning, addiction, negative core beliefs, suicidal ideation, intensity of emotions, exploring vulnerability, self worth and feeling lost in life. Everyone is different and training integratively allows me to work with what is brought into the space.
Counselling is an open, curious exploration of our inner world and the largest part of what makes therapy successful is the relationship. I believe in cultivating a compassionate, creative, empathetic space filled with depth and connection. My aim is to hold people in the vulnerability of their emotions as we collaboratively work towards healing.
Whatever brings you to seek support know that asking for help can be the most challenging part. The path we chose to take back to ourselves will differ along the way, whatever one you choose is a step in a direction towards healing, there is no right or wrong, sometimes it is about putting one foot in front of the other until the direction becomes clearer
