I work with Adults, Adolescents and Families with Teenagers and I support people with the challenges life throws at them. If you are experiencing loss or grief, relationship difficulties, trauma at any stage in life, or you want to explore your childhood and work towards making some peace for yourself I can help. Teenagers have their own specific problems to bring to counselling based on their age and stage in life, neurodiversity, relationships and mood regulation, risk taking behaviours and all that's involved around the journey to adulthood.
Attachment Based Family Therapy for Families (ABFT Informed Practice) with Teens is a short term intervention helping families that are experiencing breakdown due to loss of trust in relationships, exploring why teens can't take their problems to their parents, resolving family conflict and building long term secure child / parent relationships.
I am available for clients in private practice in Alloa, Scotland and online, I am also a school based counsellor in a large secondary school in Central Scotland where we are piloting the first School Based ABFT service in the UK.
