Sometimes life can get too much and we can become overwhelmed by current events or our past. Coming to counselling can be a daunting prospect, but a warm, collaborative and therapeutic environment can help us to face those concerns and gain understanding. I work compassionately, with empathic understanding and without judgement to provide a safe and confidential space for you to talk. All genders are welcome and I can help with a variety of presenting issues, including anxiety, depression, grief/loss, loneliness, low self-esteem, abuse, self-harm, trauma and relationship problems.
I have a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and work integratively using Person Centred and Psychodynamic models of counselling. I also offer couple/relationship therapy having completed specialist training to be awarded The Grove’s Certificate in Couple/Relationship Therapy accredited by COSRT at Level 5. I have previously been a counselling lecturer.
