If you are having difficulties in life, my therapy uses a range of methods within a safe space, to help you achieve wellness. I am a chartered psychologist with 20 years’ experience of helping people with emotional and interpersonal difficulties. I predominantly use schema therapy to help you understand why you might behave and think in unhelpful ways. Treatment also involves a mentoring approach to help you develop more robust skills for managing emotions and relationships, to allow for a better, more fulfilling life.
I use the following techniques from Schema Therapy to assist you: 1. Using chairs to represent various aspects of the self to encourage insight and promote change by addressing/challenging your negative traits and developing more healthy 'parts'. 2. Using imagery to process the past, consider the link to behaviour now and enable positive change to take place
