I am a BACP registered, Person-Centred Counsellor with over 12 years experience working with adults of all ages. My aim is to build a collaborative non-judgemental relationship with you. This relational approach provides safety and understanding as you explore any changes you choose to make towards knowing yourself more fully and living more authentically. My training and experience have shown me that anyone, struggling with difficult thoughts and feelings, can find acceptance and self-knowledge if they are met with empathy and without judgement. I believe that we are all capable of growth and change.
I offer face-to-face, online and telephone counselling to clients aged from 18yrs . I have worked for 8 years as a counsellor for a national Cancer charity, and have extensive experience and training in working with clients who have experienced trauma in their lives as children and/or as adults. Inclusivity, diversity and creativity are embedded in my work.
I'm trauma-informed, anti-oppressive and culturally attuned. Respecting and seeking to understand your values and beliefs, I hope to safely explore what's going on for you. I believe in the transformative power of being seen and heard with curiosity and compassion.
