Thank you for taking time to find out more about me. I am an adult psychotherapist and counsellor working in private practice in North Berwick and online. I also work at PF Counselling in Edinburgh. Counselling is no magic wand and it can take time and feel difficult sometimes, but I know, because I have experienced through my work as a counsellor, that change can come from meaningful, honest, therapeutic conversations.
I have a Post-Graduate Diploma in Counselling in person-centred and psychodynamic therapy from Edinburgh University but I believe passionately that, far more important than the type of counselling, is the relationship you build with your counsellor and that the most important thing at the outset of that relationship is that you feel understood and accepted.
