I am a qualified integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, and registered member of the BACP and UKCP. I work with adult clients, who see me for help with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, and relationship difficulties. I aim to provide a space in which you feel safe and supported in order to explore your concerns, at your pace, whilst being listened to fully; without judgement or disruption. I feel a trusting and collaborative relationship between client and therapist is vital. I may gently challenge you, or offer observations, but without being authoritative.
As an integrative therapist, I work in the way that is most suitable to you. I draw on a number of established therapeutic approaches depending on your needs. I don't have a predetermined way of working, as everyone is different and what helps one person may not suit you.
I am interested in how early relationships can affect us now, and and why we may feel so critical or even ashamed of ourselves. I am originally from the US; I moved to London over 20 years ago. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in marketing and creative services.
