Are you finding things difficult to cope with at the moment or having feelings that are causing you to feel alone, concerned or distressed? I'm Jo and I would love to help you. I offer a confidential, non-judgemental and empathetic space, where your voice will truly be heard. I work as an Integrative Counsellor, which means that I see you as an individual and create a bespoke service for you. I use the person-centred approach to build up a therapeutic relationship with you and then blend in other skills and tools which best suit you. Most importantly, we will work in a manner which feels comfortable to you.
I am a proud Royal Navy Veteran I have worked for 25 years in a variety of agencies and charities prior to starting my own private practice. My previous experience includes working with adults and children from all walks of life and often in crisis.
I have a bespoke counselling room set up to welcome you. I have created it to be a warm, calm, relaxing and confidential safe space. I also offer sessions online or via telephone. Or if you like the outdoors and would prefer feeling the sun, wind or rain on your face, or sand beneath your toes, we can arrange to meet a local beach
