Hello and welcome, I'm Jo. You may have come here because you're struggling to cope with life's challenges. Perhaps you're feeling overwhelmed, lost or alone and you're finding it hard to deal with the difficult feelings. Many situations can bring us to a point where everything feels too much - for example, emotional and/or physical ill health, work stress, relationship difficulties, break-ups, bereavement, trauma and unresolved childhood issues. I offer psychotherapy and Havening Techniques to help you to explore what you need to resolve your difficulties and gain balance in your life and in your relationships.
I have a special interest in working holistically with the mind and body to help you cope with and, hopefully, overcome emotional and physical difficulties, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, chronic pain and fatigue. I will support you to be more at ease with difficult feelings and build a greater resilience in your nervous system for handling stress.
I offer you the opportunity to create a safe space away from the pressures of daily life for us to explore what is troubling you and have a look at any changes you may need to make. I will sit alongside you with compassion, and without judgement, as you find a way out of your difficulties that works for you.
