At times, we may all feel confused and overwhelmed with emotional difficulties, as I have also experienced. As a counsellor I will offer you an opportunity for you to talk and be heard, in a safe, compassionate and supportive way. I will work with you, at your pace, in a confidential space where you can explore what's going on in your life, increasing your self awareness, enabling you to connect to your thoughts and feelings. I offer flexible appointment times and have experience of working with a wide range of people. Some of the issues people have brought have included: depression, stress, relationships, trauma and bereavement
my approach is warm and compassionate.... I work in a way that remembers clearly the courage it takes to make that first step, so I will offer you a space where you won't be judged, but will be met with acceptance and empathy.
The type of counselling I work with is based on the Person Centred approach, this means that I believe we all have the capacity for healing and growth, despite the difficulties and obstacles that might get in the way. Together, we'll try to identify those obstacles and find a way to remove them out of your way......contact me to book your first free session.
