Thanks for stopping at my profile, I am an experienced Counsellor; and registered with of the BACP Ethical Body. I work with a range of clients; presenting with anxiety, depression, impotence, anger, bereavement, addiction and difficulties in relationships. I work with men and women. My main focus is to build a therapeutic relationship with you based on empathy and understanding where you can feel comfortable working with me. We will create a safe confidential space for you to be able to open up and share your struggles with me. I do have a particular interest in working with men in struggle.
We have a rich unconscious world; I work with clients to bring this into awareness. Difficulties in current relationships can be understood through recognizing influences of our past & internal ways of working. The relationship that we build in the therapy room will be honest, challenging and non judgmental.
You may not think that your problem is very "big" but it just feels to large for you to manage, you may just need someone to listen to you. You do not need a formal diagnosis to engage in counselling. Just a willingness to be curious about yourself.
