During our consultation I will always answer your questions honestly and help you in deciding if Art Psychotherapy is right for you. In a session I am looking for connection, not perfection. You do not need to be 'good' at art and all art making is judgement free and can unlock a new way of expressing yourself. It is also common to have sessions where you just talk or just make art. I have a range of experience in my role as a therapist and through our consultation I can advise how therapy may help you as an individual.
I provide a safe and facilitating space to enable you to explore your thoughts and feelings. I provide a slow paced therapy which there is no rush and pace is set by you in the session. Art Therapy is unique in that you can use the art to explore how you feel rather than emphasising on language.
