I am an Accredited Member of the BACP. This means The British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy recognises me as an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist who's practice meets their higher standard as a competent, ethical, independent practitioner. I am trained in Humanistic Integrative Counselling and work with adults (18+) experiencing a broad range of personal, emotional or mental health difficulties. For example grief and loss, divorce, redundancy or other major life event, anxiety, depression, illness, family and relationship issues.
My background in visual arts enhances my way of working. When words feel insufficient or are a stumbling block, I offer clients alternative ways of expressing themselves. Image cards, drawing and sand tray work can help to access suppressed or difficult material, facilitating the counselling process. I'm trained to work in person, online and on the phone.
