Welcome to my Biography. I am currently offering online therapy only (due to the corona virus pandemic). I have over 25 years of experience as a psychological therapist, and I am able to offer a range of therapeutic modalities. Seeking psychological therapy can be a daunting and anxiety provoking process. However please be reassured that you are not alone. Statistics show that 1 in 4 people will experience some kind of mental health problem in the course of a year.
I am a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT); an Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) trained therapist. I am also trained in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT); Lifespan Integration Therapy; Internal Family Systems; Humanistic Integrative Counselling, and Transpersonal Perspectives within Psychotherapy. I specialise in working with trauma.
I have over twenty five years of experience of working in private practice and in patient and out patient settings with a wide variety of presenting issues. I am highly committed to this work. I have particular expertise in working with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder; Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Developmental Trauma.
