i am a person-centred counsellor with 30 years experience of working with people from all backgrounds and walks of life. I aim to provide a safe accepting place where you can explore your concerns. I have seen people who have been abused and traumatised in childhood, people who are worried about addiction, those who have suffered rape or domectic violence, people experiencing anxiety, depression or work related stress. Sometimes people don't come with a specific problem they can identify but want to increase their self awareness. I see individuals and couples on a long or short term basis.
I have specific training and experience in working with adult survivors (male and female) of childhood abuse, including dissociation. I've also worked extensively with eating disorders and self harm. Another area of my work has been with loss and long term health issues.
I also provide person centred supervision for qualified counsellors and trainees.
