Do you need somebody to help you understand and manage the challenges in your life in confidence? My approach is existential, which does not judge emotional suffering but looks instead at how you uniquely experience the world. I will help you explore your lived experience in terms of your relationships; your emotional well-being; and your values, choices and sense of purpose. You may come at a time of distress with a particular difficulty, or you may have reached a stage when you want to deepen your understanding of yourself. I offer a safe and supportive space where you can begin to make sense of whatever is troubling you.
My style is collaborative and open-minded, and my hope is to help you discover new opportunities to live in a more personally fulfilling way. I have 10 years' experience working in the NHS, a women’s centre, a men’s counselling service, a hospice, a perinatal mental health charity and a cancer support centre. I also offer supervision to therapists.
I am committed to ethical and non-discriminatory practise and also work with non-traditional relationships. I have full clinical UKCP and BACP memberships and I offer supervision, and concessions to counselling and psychotherapy trainees.
