I know from experience that everyone has the ability to bring about positive change in their lives. We can all learn, heal, and grow. I have been in private practice since 2006, working with private clients as well as with professional referrals. During this time I have amassed well over 14,000 sessions with clients (my sessions last a full 60 minutes). . I mostly work online but do have limited spaces available for face to face (with COVID precautions in place)
As an Integrative Counsellor I can draw on insights and techniques from a range of mainstream therapies – in particular person centred, psychodynamic and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). This helps me respond flexibly to each client’s way of thinking, feeling and behaving, offering them the therapeutic style or style which suits them best.
I continue to study and develop my practice, exceeding the BACP’s requirement for 30 hours of continuing professional development per year. I also have regular ongoing supervision.
