I believe that everyone has the potential to lead a fulfilling and meaningful life. Counselling can be a safe place to let your feelings out and share what’s on your mind. I'm an integrative counsellor, I draw on techniques from different types of therapy to tailor an approach specifically for you. My focus is you, I care deeply about the relationship we establish together, believing the therapeutic relationship is essential to the success of your experience. We’ll start where you are, talk about what’s been happening in your life and how that’s affecting you and your relationships.
I work with challenges such as depression, anxiety, stress, addiction, trauma, pregnancy loss and infertility, relationship problems and bereavement. You may be aware of self-destructive patterns which cause you, or those around you, pain. Extreme feelings such as anger, shame, guilt, sadness or loneliness may be affecting your daily life, keeping you stuck.
There are wide ranging of reasons why people seek counselling. Opening up to someone about the intimate details of your life can feel daunting. My primary aim is to create an environment that is confidential, safe and non- judgemental to support you to better understand yourself and work toward desired change.
