Hello and welcome to Here counselling. It’s not easy choosing a therapist to help. I understand this step can be daunting but it is a positive sign that you are ready to think about the issues that you are battling with. People seek therapy for many different reasons. There is no problem too big or too small. Every worry and concern is valued and treated with confidentiality and respect. Whatever the problem, I am committed to providing you with emotional support when you need it the most. Importantly it’s a time for you. A chance to be heard and understood.
I am a non-judgemental counsellor and we will gently explore the issues that are troubling you right now. I will use the appropriate approach to suit you. We will work at your pace and you are in charge of your therapy, as I listen, support and help to understand.
It is so easy to lose sight of who you are. A key part of my work is to discover the true person that you are and what you would like to become. Learning to understand, accept and nurture self is the route to becoming truly content. Getting to know what you need in life can develop your self esteem and confidence as well as enhancing relationships.
