We all struggle sometimes and need a little help. As a Clinical Psychologist, EMDR & CAT Therapist, not to mention a human being(!) I'd like to walk alongside you. Are difficult memories, unhelpful behaviours and lots of emotions getting in the way of living the life you would like to? Are you, at times, overwhelmed with feelings of shame, anxiety or sadness? I understand the exhaustion. Looking back together at past experiences of trauma, whether these be events or within relationships, I have hope that we can understand these current patterns and work out a plan together to carve out a life worth living.
After meeting for an assessment, I typically offer 16-24 sessions or a therapy of a longer duration dependent upon your needs. If we decide to go ahead with EMDR therapy for a single index trauma, we may not need many sessions.
