I am a Therapeutic Counsellor and Supervisor, working with a wide range of emotional and psychological issues. Whether there is a specific issue, event or trauma you would like to work through, or you want to explore broader, deeper and more fundamental concepts such as understanding yourself and your relationships better, looking at unconscious processes that lead us to what we do or looking back into your childhood experiences - that work can be undertaken within the remit of therapy. I offer Individual Therapy and Relationship Counselling (couples work) and work in person, via Zoom and also through walk and talk sessions
It’s the latter I tend to see the most in my work - those wanting to look at their patterns, their relationships and their life experiences, either to make changes or to live life with more clarity. I also work with sexual abuse and childhood sexual abuse, birth trauma and trauma in childhood, which, whilst sounding daunting, is a privilege to do.
I work in a client lead way, following your lead, being a source of support and validation as you work through your issues. I also more psychotherapeutically, looking at unconscious processes within yourself and with others, bringing them into your awareness to give you greater power to make changes and implement boundaries where appropriate.
