I am a Clinical Psychologist with almost two decades of experience working with adults to treat a wide range of emotional difficulties. I can provide one to one therapy as well as remote sessions for example, via Skype. I can help with mild to moderate mental health difficulties, including, anxiety, work/exam stress, OCD, abuse, depression, low self-esteem and trauma including PTSD. I also have specialist experience in helping people from a psychological perspective to manage chronic pain conditions, neurological conditions, memory difficulties and other issues associated with ageing.
I primarily use Solution Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and may integrate aspects of either approach with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I work together with my clients to find the treatment approach which suits them best. I believe we are all unique and that treatment works best when tailored to each person individually.
Clinical Psychologists can be particularly helpful for people whose difficulties have not responded to other therapies or for those who have difficulties which are longstanding or complex.
