My name is Gurchehn, I am a Counsellor/Psychotherapist. I offer therapy for anxiety, depression, low mood and relationship issues. I believe life can be a rollercoaster but within the challenges we face, we can have the ability to grow and develop. My background - I was born and raised in a traditional Punjabi household and have an understanding of cultural limitations. I found my passion supporting and empowering others whilst working as a case worker to support carers. My focus is to help individuals heal, energize and become aware of their inner strengths. I achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns and being integrative in my approach. My therapeutic approach takes into account how identity, culture, community, race and religion can influence and shape our sense of self.
My goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life. I understand the stigma around mental health and how fear, shame and judgement can prevent us from seeking the support that we may need.
