I am a HCPC registered Counselling Psychologist working in North London. I offer short and long-term therapy for various issues in the areas of adjustment and stress/coping concerns (home, school, work), mental health (i.e. anxiety, depression, PTSD), relationship based difficulties (working with couples and families), severe mental health illness including bipolar, personality disorders and addictions. My training includes Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy and Existential Therapy. I also have experience in physical health conditions and end of life care.
Alongside my private practice, I currently work at University College London Hospital (UCLH) as a Senior Counselling Psychologist in a leading cancer psychology service. Prior to my current role, I worked for the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust (a specialist mental health Trust based in London) and led a physical health psychology department.
My experience enables me to provide compassionate therapy using the most effective methods when supporting individuals to overcome their difficulties. I believe having the space to reflect in a non-judgemental relationship can help develop new ways of coping and managing.
