I am an BABCP Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and a EMDR Therapist. I am particularly experienced in working with people struggling with the effects of trauma from childhood or adulthood, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), Complex PTSD, substance use, anxiety disorders, stress, low self-esteem and depression.
EMDR is my main model of therapy. EMDR is a powerful therapy for overcoming the effects of trauma and related difficulties. I also draw from CBT, ACT and compassion-based approaches to deliver a bespoke and tailored intervention for each client.
My counselling practice offers you a place where you can feel fully accepted, respected and supported in a safe, non-judgemental way for you to explore your difficulties. This will be a collaborative process beginning with an initial assessment to gain a deeper understanding of what has led you to engage in therapy.
