We can sometimes forget to look after ourselves and our own needs as we are busy caring for others. My decision to become a counsellor was based upon a desire to be of help to others and make a difference during distressing times. I feel with my experience and understanding I am well placed to offer support. I truly believe that good mental health and mental wellbeing is essential for all of us.
As qualified therapist I have created Read Counselling to be of help to children, young people and adults. I have extensive experience of working with children and young people with a range of difficulties, as well as offering trauma support for young people and adults.
My aim is to build a therapeutic relationship with you in order for you to feel comfortable & safe enough to explore your thoughts, feelings & any difficulties.
