I am a fully qualified and accredited counsellor and psychotherapist with over 16 years’ experience in private practice and in a youth counselling service. I work with young people aged 14+ and adults of all ages. It is difficult to admit to ourselves that we are struggling and need support. The reality is that at some point in our lives we can all benefit from counselling, irrespective of whether the issue is an unresolved one from the past, a present issue we are struggling with, or even when we do not know what the issue is, but we know that something is just not right.
I aim to work in partnership with you where respect, empathy, trust and honesty are an integral part of the way in which we work together. My role is to listen without judgement and to provide the right level of support and encouragement to help guide you towards a journey of discovery and enhancement of your feelings, thoughts and behaviour.
