Hi, and welcome to my page. I have been counselling for 15 years, seeing a variety of clients from many walks of life. I offer a compassionate and safe space for you to work in, and together we would collaborate to bring you to a place of acceptance or resolution to the issues you are struggling with. It can be hard to know which counsellor to choose, so I would say I have a kind but realistic approach that has been a source of comfort to my clients both short and long term. I look forward to hearing from you and staying with you on your journey towards wellness.
As a British Asian I have learned to live in two worlds and integrate them both in my life. As a former professional musician I can empathise with issues around anxiety and performance. I spent several years volunteering in a pregnancy centre, so have counselled many people around the subject of birth and loss. I work with young people and adults.
Having worked as a GP surgery counsellor for 15 years, I have covered topics such as anxiety, depression, spirituality, bereavement, arranged marriage, domestic violence, sexual abuse, being a carer, living with pain, shame, trauma and cross-cultural issues. It really is a privilege to sit alongside people as we make sense of how life has turned out for you
