The world can be frustrating when you get tangled up in unhealthy thinking patterns. You can feel lost, or overwhelmed, with moments of real darkness. That is where I can help. If you lose control of your anger or your anxiety holds you back, we can unpack what makes you tick. If you hide your emotions in harmful behaviour, we can uncover them. What I enjoy most is helping people to build healthy relationships with themselves and others. I used to this when working with the Prince's Trust and Mind, the leading UK mental health agency. This gave me insight into those dealing with addiction, anxiety and depression.
As a registered BACP counsellor, I offer a person-centred approach that integrates psychodynamic theories. This is because I have learned that strong relationships are what creates lasting change. I also integrate CBT exercises as an extra aid for you. I know from my own experience that change is simple but not easy if you do not put it into practice.

Groups
Social Anxiety Support Group.
This support group has been developed to support teenagers who experience social anxiety. The group is limited to 8 persons per group and will run for a period 6 weeks (online) before recurring. This group will offer CBT techniques as well as offer between session worksheets for attendees to complete in their own spare time. I have offered this support groups to others in the past and the feedback which I have received from past attendees was very positive to say the least.
