I am an experienced and fully qualified integrative counsellor / psychotherapist specifically trained to work with young people of all ages to offer support and relief from overwhelming and confusing feelings that leave them feeling vulnerable. I offer long-term and short-term therapy for all ages from my garden room in Warlingham, Surrey (near Croydon, Caterham and Purley).
All children can experience trauma, abuse, loss, bullying, illness, family, relationship & friendship issues, gender curiosity, stress & loneliness etc. Their frustrations can be communicated in sadness, anger, depression, anxiety, panic, low self-esteem, lack of resilience, self-harm, disordered eating, behaviour problems, addiction & suicidal thoughts.
My approach is child-led using verbal communication, creativity and play to help children express their feelings at their own pace. Sessions are tailored to each individual and their ability and needs so are integrative in nature drawing on play, art, person-centred and CBT techniques & psychodynamic thinking.
