Hello, welcome to my page. I am an integrative counsellor, which means I use different approaches to therapy depending on the client’s individual need. I am a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and abide by the guidelines set out in their Ethical Framework (2108). I offer both long and short term therapy in the form of 50 minute sessions, with a focus on providing a safe, empathetic space that feels supportive and non-judgemental. There can be many reasons why we seek counselling, whether that’s due to difficulties from the past, or working on change and self awareness in the here and now.
I believe the working alliance plays a crucial role in allowing clients to achieve lifelong change. As part of my work I focus on clients increasing their sense of self-worth, self-esteem, building confidence, and gaining resilience to face the challenges that life may present. I strongly believe the past does not have to define your future.
