Life can feel utterly exhausting and isolating at times and the thought of stepping into therapy can feel daunting I get it, I know I did. I hope to provide a space that allows you to go at your own pace. I am always mindful of exploring what brings you to therapy and initially talking about what you feel you want to get. It's important to figure out whether I am the right therapist for you hence why I offer a free 30-minute consultation.
My core discipline is Transactional Analysis which helps you understand your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours and discover how your past experiences can affect your adult life. However, I am also an integrative therapist which means I like to incorporate other techniques into my practice to ensure a totally unique approach.
Having first-hand experience of the fostering and adoption process as well as fertility issues and adversity within my childhood, I understand the importance of building a trusting relationship. Sometimes the word safe doesn't land and I understand the importance of working at your pace whilst holding space to enable you to feel seen and heard.
