Its different to art teaching, you do not have to of had experience in art techniques to benefit from art therapy. We all interact with, process and produce art differently .Every individuals work is original. It can help with a range of things from raising self esteem/confidence, processing past trauma , coping with changes , coping skills, anxiety, sensory.............
With over 30 years experience working with children, young people and adults in different environments , for autistic spectrum. Estelle Brightwell-Fully registered Art Psychotherapist(HCPC). M.A Postgraduate Diploma in Art Psychotherapy, B.A(Hons) Arts Therapies, PG Cert modules in Primary care.
