Hello, I enjoy helping a wide range of people with many concerns and needs. People come to therapy for a wide range of reasons; immediate concerns, long-term challenges in life, and deep concerns about the future. In all cases, there is a recognition of a need to be respected as human beings on a journey towards personal development, self-improvement, and greater happiness. Nothing could be more reasonable.
Attachment-based psychoanalytic psychotherapy helps us to take a look at our personal development, with a background of tested clinical theory, decades of research, and a powerful model of how our minds actually work. I weave this together with my training in the humanities to help people learn about themselves, grow, and improve their social relations.
My work is characterised by mutual respect, the courage to see important things when ready, and a desire for a better future for both clients and their social circle. I believe firmly that a good course of psychotherapy is one of the best choices that one could make, and it gives me great professional satisfaction to see good results.
