I build therapeutic relationships based on the Client-Centered core conditions of Empathy, Unconditional Positive Regard (respect) and Congruence (genuineness) I have had a lot of success with helping young people and younger adults, as well as parents of adolescents feel more comfortable within themselves and move towards their full potential. I work with low level mental health difficulties that are not entrenched and relationship and personal identity issues and emotional difficulties. I also enjoy supervising trainee Counsellers and those in the early stages of their practice.

You may be struggling at the moment with relationships or life in general. Perhaps you feel confused about yourself and the other - unsure about whether you are being reasonable or whether it is ok to feel upset or angry. You may put on a mask when dealing with others, terrified of being seen as your authentic self. Perhaps you like people but find them draining after a while. Or you may have experienced abuse, verbal abuse, or bullying in either your family of origin, your workplace or your romantic relationships. Or you may just have a hunch that something's not right or feel that there is something wrong with you.

Not currently accepting new clients. I am a qualified person-centred counsellor working with adults and young people. I offer in-person only. Whether your issues are related to the past, or are rooted in the present, counselling can help to alleviate the ways these events affect you and your relationships. Exploring our feelings and how these events have affected us can help to improve our self-worth, self-esteem and self-compassion. As we feel better about ourselves we are able to experience improved relationships and make more positive life choices.
