What a fortunate encounter. You have landed here. It can be unnerving to arrive somewhere or meet someone for the first time. My aim is to create with you a safe meadow, a sanctuary, in which to contemplate your journey. I will be a witness and a facilitator in your exploration of what is burdening you, of what it means to be you, as you create new possibilities or grow or whatever it is that brings you on this path. If you are committed to yourself, curious and willing, then I am here for you.

There are many reasons why someone might seek therapy. You could be a stage in your life where you are confused about who you really are and what to do next. You may be haunted by old traumas or facing new challenges. It may be that you are experiencing relationship or family issues, there may be problems at work. You may be going through grief and loss, or facing illness or disability. Any of this could leave you feeling anxious, depressed, overwhelmed or burnt out. Alternatively, you may not know why you are struggling with your mental health. I provide a calm, warm, supportive presence to help you figure it all out.

Life is challenging and full of struggles. You may be feeling stuck or lost, out of control, low in mood, swamped by feelings of worry, guilt, shame or anger. Maybe you are finding it difficult to feel grounded in your life and connected to those around you. You could be experiencing a sense of emptiness that you can’t explain. You are not broken; you are simply responding the things that have happened to you. You are important and you deserve to feel peace and presence in your life.

Self-criticism can feel like it’s on a painful, repeating loop. You might find you are telling yourself that you are not good enough, or boring, ugly or fat. Far from motivating you, it’s my belief that punishing yourself in this way actually limits your choices and actions and keeps you stuck. Quite simply, talking to yourself in a mean way doesn’t get you anywhere. Talking to another person, and opening up about this habit can really help.

Hello and Welcome. My name is Mandy, I'm from Ireland and I specialise in Bereavement counselling. Nobody can prepare you for the emotional devastation of losing a loved one.
