I am a fully qualified person-centred, and integrative therapist. I offer safe, non-judgemental, confidential therapy for you to explore your concerns and issues. Having a non-judgemental and supportive manner is essential in the work I do with people. Psychotherapy can be used as a means of truly connecting with yourself; of looking inward and examining who you are, why you do the things you do and why you feel the things you feel. It's a daunting prospect but as your therapist, I'm there to help guide you through the process. By prioritising your mental, emotional and spiritual health and embracing therapy as part of your regular self-care practice you can radically alter and improve your relationship with yourself, your life and with those around you.

Sometimes, we can feel overwhelmed by life and we don't recognize why we feel the way we do. This can lead to us feeling disconnected with others but also with ourselves. Sometimes the problem is not always clear and by talking things through in a safe space, it can help us understand what is happening. Navigating issues through a therapeutic relationship can empower us to progress in your journey of self-discovery and thrive in life. I can offer you a safe, confidential space for you to feel heard, bring any issues that may be affecting you and your ability to flourish.

I work with many issues, such as Anxiety, Depression, Self-esteem, Stress, Friendship issues, Women’s issues, Trauma, Body dysmorphia, Family issues, Work related issues, Relationship issues, Grief and Self-harm amongst other issues.
Person Centered therapy helps bring your own feelings to the surface and it gives you a safe space to offload anything you may be carrying. It allows you to explore your own feelings and understand yourself better, leading you to become more self-aware and empowering you to explore your own thoughts and behaviours. The aim is for you to see that you had the power to work through your difficulties all along, that your opinion matters and that you know what is best for you. PCT a non-directive therapy, it is about establishing a trusting, genuine, therapeutic relationship where empathy and a non-judgmental approach is offered.

I work mostly with men (16+) struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, OCD & trauma. I have a relaxed and informal approach, focusing on building a solid relationship with my clients that acts as the foundation for the work we do throughout therapy. Most of my clients are hard working, family orientated and are motivated to make changes to improve their quality of life. I am a BABCP accredited CBT therapist and EMDR therapist. I also have training in other modalities (DBT, ACT and mindfulness) which I pull techniques or strategies from to tailor therapy to my client's needs.

I think finding the right Counsellor who hears you and understands what you are looking for is key to feeling safe enough to start to build an open and trusting relationship that can lead to significant changes in your life.
I help my clients to be ready for change I am there to help them reach their potential. Focusing on what they would like to achieve moving forward and what things from the past seem to be holding them back . Making realistic goals together and looking at how to remove the barriers to achieving those goals is key to the best Counselling experience. Taking things gently to explore what would help in the clients best interest and to build confidence to overcome challenges that are holding people back .
