I also like to give space for a holistic approach, using person-centred techniques, and I often also incorporate Mindfulness and Compassion Focussed elements in my therapeutic approach.
I offer a safe and collaborative space to explore with you the feelings, thoughts and behaviours that you experience with your issue. Together we will develop an understanding of how these affect you, and what keeps them going. We will work to develop and practice a 'toolkit' of techniques that you can continue to use, to encourage more healthy ways of thinking and responding, to gain better control and emotional balance to reach your therapy goal. I can work with you on issues such as general anxiety, feeling 'stuck', depression, low confidence and self esteem, and social anxiety.

My counseling approach is holistic also integrating mindfulness practices, CBT and grounding techniques.
If you are struggling with making sense of the challenges and shifts going on in your life and need some support to make sense of things or if you would like to learn some techniques to support you in grounding, calming your nervous system or to make life feel a little smoother then reach out. I would be happy to support you with this. If you would also like to explore challenges within a spiritual context or thinking in terms of energy, we can absolutely make this a significant part of the therapy.

Some of the healing tools I offer in my practice are art, mindfulness, meditation, body movement, breathing, sacred geometry, poetry, play therapy and other creative methods or we can talk.
Is it difficult for yourself to connect to your emotions and feelings? Sometimes it is complicated to find a link to enable us express freely. Unintentionally, we can create a habit in which we suppress, run away, deny or manipulate our emotions. It is normal to try to push away feelings of discomfort like stress, fear or pain; but there are tools you can learn to help you cope with these emotions in a healthy way. Instead of denying, distracting yourself, manipulating or disconnecting, you can accept, observe, acknowledge and connect deeply with your feelings.

Having learned mindfulness practice at a young age, I have a strong interest in the application of mindfulness based cognitive therapy to mental health.
Most people choose therapy at a time when they are experiencing a “crises in meaning”, “crises in ego” or "crises in relationship". This is a call to action. Whether the struggle is to do with a relationship, depression, anxiety or adjustment to change, the person has a desire to find resolution or relief. This is a necessary process in the path toward psychological maturity, humility and self-acceptance. Therapy facilitates this process. I am a senior psychologist, in practice since 2005. I am trained as a Child & Family Mediator and completed a specialisation in Transpersonal Psychology which informs my approach to therapy.

I can help you understand yourself in a better, more truthful and kinder way using the training and experience I have had of helping clients like you to live a richer and more meaningful life using approaches including CBT, person-centred counselling, mindfulness, compassion focused therapy and acceptance commitment therapy.
Are you feeling low, anxious, unsure, stuck, not as productive or just not enjoining the beautiful gift of life - let me help you understand yourself and your difficulties more to allow you to become unstuck, more productive and lead a healthier and happier life within your current circumstances however difficult these may be. Low mood or anxiety can feel hard to overcome or ever break free from but even just starting therapy makes this easier to manage and regulate. Become clearer in your thoughts, feelings, behaviours and way of life through clear, structured therapy at a time, place and space comfortable to you.

I integrate traditional approaches (CBT, ACT, Psychodynamic) with body-oriented & transpersonal approaches (Breathwork, EFT, Focusing, Ecotherapy, Mindfulness, Art therapy) to help clients find deeper embodied change.
At times we find it hard to navigate life with our own resources alone. Perhaps you are going through a depressive episode, low mood, anxiety, loss, grief; experience identity crisis, loss of meaning, belonging or self-esteem issues which makes it hard to find or maintain romantic relationships. You might be going through existential-spiritual crises or resurfaced childhood traumas and heartbreaks. I am here to support you with compassion, presence and understanding. I specialise in supporting creative women to build confidence in their identity, creative work & business. I also offer Faith Based Counselling, Art Therapy & Coaching.
