My main approach is to encourage you to explore your feelings and take responsibility for your thoughts and actions. As I work in a way that empowers the client, I always work with what you present. Bottled up feelings such as anger, anxiety, grief, jealousy, sadness, shame and pain can become very overwhelming. The opportunity to express them can make it much easier to understand yourself and others. As I acknowledge your feelings and respect you as a person in your own right, you gain self-respect and a sense of being valued. This leads to building trust between counsellor and client, which is an essential part of the process.

I am currently offering online therapy. I have over ten years of experience working in mental health and in supporting people to identify, better understand and work through any difficulties, challenges or points of ‘stuckness’ they may be experiencing in their lives. Therapy is often about exploring different perspectives and developing the skills and tools we need to help navigate life’s challenges to allow us to move forward. I am flexible and collaborative in my approach to therapy because, in my experience, therapy is most helpful to people when it is tailored to their specific needs and the hopes they may have for the process.

I believe that therapy allows you to take a more active role in understanding and experiencing your emotions. When we are not aware of our emotions or ideas, it can mean we act out certain behaviours – or experience certain feelings - without knowing why. And while we might be able to tolerate this for some time – perhaps even for a long time - I believe there is a difference between surviving and living. Developing a closer – or less mysterious - relationship with ourselves can allow us to go beyond living life passively and begin to really experience it.

Sometimes, it's important to only be listened to and heard. Expressing our thoughts out loud can heal and often make decision-making easier. Occasionally, we may not be seeking feedback but need someone willing to simply listen.

You may be feeling overwhelmed & disconnected in your relationships & work, &/or experiencing anxiety & despair about the state of the world - the climate crisis, the political landscape, the “never enough” of grind culture capitalism, the multitude of oppressive systems that plague us (racism, cisheteropatriarchy etc). I’ve been practicing for 15 years & find it especially rewarding working with those who are highly sensitive, empathic, artists, activists, queer, non monogamous, those struggling with a dysregulated nervous system, anxious attachment, poor boundaries & people pleasing. I work somatically alongside talk therapy.

Maybe you're so busy you barely have time to think, but in those lonely hours between dusk and dawn, you feel like something isn't right. You find ingenious ways to distract yourself from this feeling. Whether it be doom scrolling, misusing substances, overworking, engaging in risky behaviours, or holding yourself to an impossibly high standard, you're running from yourself. And my job is to support you to find a way to stay.

Are feelings of being trapped in complex relationships, self-doubt, depression, anxiety or uncertainty during life’s transitions becoming overwhelming? Are you grappling with your identity or facing the challenges that come with change, like menopause? Perhaps you’re a high achiever dealing with self-confidence issues and the pressure of imposter syndrome. Are you looking for someone who embraces feminist, LGBTQ+ affirming, and anti-racist principles? Do you need support in addressing the effects of narcissistic abuse and complex relational dynamics?

Hello, thankyou for looking at my profile. My intention is to develop a therapeutic alliance, a safe space to provide a hearing, a listening. Being with a committed other, every week is a rare and precious gift to yourself. This time will be your time. I am an integrative practitioner which means I bring everything I know, theoretically, intuitively, physically and emotionally, in the service of the other, in the moment. Locating feeling and releasing of emotions, is welcomed, through the body, voice or with artworks. I am committed to giving you and your experiences a full hearing, and so change will occur.

Hello, I am Anna Magnowska, an experienced art therapist who works with children, teenagers and adults. Art therapy is a professionally regulated practice that integrates psychotherapy alongside creative expression and art making as a means of communication. Everyone possesses creativity, and art therapy can be a way to tap into complex feelings which can then begin to be processed - you do not need any experience making art. Art therapy is appropriate for all ages and stages of life, and can be particularly suited to people who struggle with verbal communication. I am also a qualified supervisor and offer supervision.

Hi I’m David. I work with a broad range of clients, each with their unique reasons for seeking therapy. I provide a warm and inclusive, confidential space that is sensitive to you and your needs. We all possess the capacity to self-heal, but sometimes these resources within us become blocked. In a safe and supportive relationship we can start to become aware of what might be restricting us, start to remove these barriers, and allow our own strengths and resources to emerge. I have significant experience in providing therapy through various services across London and in private practice working with issues such as:

Certain life events, transitions, or longstanding struggles can cause our usual ways of coping to break down, leaving us feeling overwhelmed and extremely distressed. To continue to function, drugs, alcohol, food, self harm, sex, social media, a depressive state or abusive behaviour can be used to numb the distress or stand in for what feels missing. But this often leads to feelings of guilt, shame, anger or blame – whether of oneself or others. It can feel like being trapped in a loop of unsatisfactory or harmful relationships, or like reaching a dead-end, with confusion about finding a meaningful path ahead.
