I work with both individuals and couples, My experience tends to be with issues, which include, anxiety, depression, identity issues, relationship issues, low self-esteem and self-confidence, to name but a few.
It's entirely reasonable for us all, at some point, to be anxious and confused by life, challenged by relationships, family life and or the direction of our career. Life can be difficult, there's no denying that, you just don't have to suffer in silence. Really, the only qualification in seeking therapy is to be a normal human being. I could go on 'selling' the benefits, but ultimately I assure you, if you try, things will change, and quite possibly for the better.

I specialise in matters of the heart relating to personal identity, difference and diversity, sexuality, phobias, bereavement, loss, mental and sexual abuse, generalised anxiety disorder, depression, issues of low self esteem, relationship issues and work-related anxiety, stress and/or depression.
Since the Coronavirus pandemic my Psychotherapy practice has moved online, in most cases. My fee for working face-to-face - in and around the Greater London area - can be discussed. I offer one-to-one, couple and relationship counselling and group therapy. I work with an integrative approach, including theoretical principles such as Relational, Psychodynamic, Humanistic, Spiritual, Mindfulness, Gestalt, etc. I also incorporate Eco-Psychotherapy, as I believe we are each emotionally and spiritually impacted by the differing, ecological environments in which we live.

What is therapy anyway? Therapy is the effort to address a mental health concern or behavioral issue through communication and transparency within a therapeutic relationship.
Are you still trying to outrun your fear and prove your worth? If so, I see you. I know you because this was me before I made friends with my demons and put them to work for me. In fact, I moved across the ocean to try and outrun them. But you see, no matter where you are in the world; no matter where you are in your life; no matter where you are in your head; your demons remain right there with you.

I believe there’s no reason for anyone to continue to feel sad, anxious or remain in a difficult relationship.
Can you imagine what life could be like as a result of a Counsellors guidance? I specialise in the range of Anxiety issues (Panic Attacks, Confidence, relationship dilemmas & more). I use brief & practical counselling to provide tools & help manage. "I don’t have much experience in therapy but Mary used some techniques with me that have been very useful. After 5 sessions I am starting to feel a lot more positive and no more sleepless nights." The more you avoid it, the worse you feel so if Anxiety is taking control let me teach you evidence based tools. Having epilepsy I learned to work with any problem until I find the solutions.

I specialise in working with couples where one or both partners are on the autism spectrum (or Asperger's Syndrome).
Are you struggling to communicate with your partner? Feel like your partner doesn't understand you? Do you wish you could turn the clock back to happier times in your relationship? Many couples face difficulties in their relationship at some time or other, and this can often be a stressful experience, leaving one or both partners feeling hurt, lonely or rejected. Relationship counselling can help you re-connect with each other, reduce conflict in the relationship, and regain the closeness and intimacy you once had.

Therapy can be difficult, so building the relationship to create a space where you feel safe is important.
Therapy can help us to understand ourselves, identifying areas of struggle to find a way to change and live a more fulfilling life. Sometimes there is a traumatic incident in our past that we start remembering or we start experiencing general anxiety, depression or relationship issues. Often we have an idea about what we need to do but are unable to move on and feel stuck. I believe that talking about things is helpful. It is a way of dealing with our difficulties and a step towards a different path.
