I don't have an ideal client as I see each person as unqiue with their own set of issues and needs. I aim to explore with the client the issues they are currently experiencing and then would aim to facilitate the client to identify their needs and then explore how to establish realistic expectations of themselves and others. When we have done this I would help the client to establish their own goals and identify ways to achieve this. I would employ a variety of methods to do this based on the individual's needs so we may focus on understanding the past and its impact on the present or we may focus on the here and now issues.
