You may have found your self here today, looking for help because when we experience overwhelming emotions that cause us sadness, we may begin to withdraw from life. However, sharing our feelings is healing, and helps ease our pain. You may be suffering from feelings of depression, low mood, low self-esteem, anxiety, stress, loneliness, anger, fear, uncertainty, loss, grief, identity issues, cultural issues, a lost sense of self, trauma, abuse or suicidal thoughts. You may feel misunderstood, or health or relationship issues may be having a significant affect on your physical, emotional and psychological wellbeing.

Ex military, now multi skilled therapist. The military provided me with valuable insights and experiences. Vast exposure, witnessing various traumas and mental health impacts highlighted the importance of mental health suport and the benefit of it to others. Having supported others for years through issues such as suicide, abuse, sexual vilence, domestic violence, depression, anxiety, selfharm, neglect, relational conflict, PTSD and the impacts of bereavement I wanted to continue similar support throughy therapy.

Hello, welcome to Therapy NorthWest. We support the wellbeing of adults & young people in clinics in Chorley & surrounding areas. Things happen in life that catch us off guard, trauma, death of a loved one, diagnosis of an illness and more. You might pride yourself in being able to handle most of what life deals you. This feels different and it's impacting other things in your life. Whether it be your well-being, your relationships or your drive to get up in the morning. Maybe to cope your drinking or taking substances, maybe you self-harm or maybe you just can't talk to your loved ones about it. Sometimes it takes exploring the issues candidly without concern of being a burden, being judged or worried about.
