You have it on you to reach a bold new future! As in a recent book I have written about counsellor and therapy training, you are a valuable person with incredible worth. Let’s work together at the things that are holding you back or patterns of reacting that are detrimental to you. I work as per our training course in an integrative way with a psychodynamic core. That means we will look together at current emotional difficulties but also go deeper into wounded history. I offer therapy from my outside room in Charminster, Bournemouth, mostly on Tuesday. I have membership with BACP

So many of us are experiencing unexpected challenges, often beyond our control. They can trigger our histories, and destabilise our present realities. We all suffer, feel pain, and periodically struggle in life. It’s natural. Being deeply listened to in the telling of your story, can dissolve a lot of tension and distress. I offer support to help you bring clarity and insight to your life's challenges. We will explore those places together with awareness, and with compassion. It is a journey towards greater happiness and health, where we reflect on what is troubling you now.

I'm a compassionate, experienced professional, and can help you to manage your anxiety and overcome past truma. I am also experienced helping those struggling with sex or addiction issues, working with STOPSO and ATSAC

I am a relational integrative therapist. This means that you and I work in partnership to navigate a way to support you to face whichever challenges you would like to overcome. Sometimes this can be achieved through short-term work (up to 12 weeks) and sometimes a contract for much longer work will be what you need. The development of relationship between me (the therapist), and you (the client) is the driving force of how I work. Through the development of a trusted alliance we can begin to explore any vulnerabilities you bring safely in order to make sense of them together.

As much as it can be wonderful, life can really difficult at times and this can leave us struggling with unwanted thoughts, feelings, and memories. These can easily lead to us getting stuck in a cycle of unhelpful and at times harmful patterns of behaviour that affect ourselves as well as other people. Sometimes we continue in these patterns even when we know they are not helping which can lead to more stress, frustration, and self-criticism. If this sounds like you, rest assured there is nothing wrong with you, you are just human and like all of us, are doing your best to manage life's challenges.

Hello and thank you for pausing to read my profile. Life can sometimes bring challenges and we find the usual methods of coping no longer work for us. This can lead to feeling anxious, fatigued or unable to do the things that are important to us. Finding a counsellor who is right for you can be a stepping stone towards discovering choices and making changes. As a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor, my approach is rooted in the belief that each person has potential and I offer a welcoming space, where we can explore areas of concern at a pace that suits you, paying attention to your needs and aspirations.

Trying to work out the way forward in the world is hard, especially if you're young, have difficult family circumstances, have trouble with school and peers. Parents too have worries about their children and young people, they want the best but sometimes need a non judgemental, empathetic person to work through issues and challenges of modern life. Finding ways of relating to one another, gathering self-esteem and resilience are all part of the learning of the self.

Life can be a rough ride. Keeping the balance and moving forward can be a challenge. It can involve stress, anxiety, depression and much more. But I believe through psychological therapies we can learn and, in some cases even master, the art of managing life successfully. To achieve this, I practise an integrative approach that draws strength from various therapies in the field. I am a qualified Psychotherapist at a Doctoral level and I feel confident to deal with complexity . My natural inclination is to help people in need. My recent training and qualifications do enhance my inclination especially to those psychologically unwell.

I've been working with people for over 20 years, joining them in sense-making journeys that allow them to live more content and meaningful lives. My focus is to help people explore their thoughts, emotions and past to alleviate difficult states or obstacles to their wellbeing. When people understand what drives their behaviour and reconnect with lost parts of themselves, they can reengage in positive relationships and feel they can own their life. Symptoms like anxiety, depression or a sense of futility and unhappiness are usually linked to past experience and therapy can facilitate a safe frame to revisit them.

Hi, I am a registered psychologist with the HCPC. I have worked in the NHS for over seventeen years including children and adolescents, adults, EIS (psychosis) and also prison mental health, so my experience is pretty varied. I believe that everybody is different and as such work to help develop an understanding of what is going on for you, before exploring what intervention is likely to be the most effective. I also complete ASC assessments as part of a multi disciplinary team
