The warmest of welcomes to my page. It’s my pleasure to meet you… and however you are feeling right now, that’s welcome too. I don’t know what exactly brought you here, but maybe clarifying what the problem is, how those feelings are, expressing them somehow, can bring some relief and release. I am an integrative counsellor and sandplay therapist. This means I work with many different theories and techniques, always with the deepest empathic understanding and respect for what you are going through. We need all our resources mobilised to work together and support you to get through this!

I have worked with both individual clients and couples. I have worked with individuals in secondary school, community mental health, charities and the NHS providing both short-term and long-term counselling. I have worked with couples using emotionally focused therapy which allows the couple to look at their current cycle of feeling and thoughts and how that impact on their behaviour towards each other.

Right now, as you read this, you are likely not in a good place. You may be feeling distressed and hopeless or overwhelmed. This may have been going on for a long time and you may have tried to cope in different ways - but it's no longer working? You have tried talking to friends and family but that isn't working either? Maybe there are things that happened a long time ago in your childhood and this is still affecting you today - therapy can be a place to begin to look at all of this and can be the start of beginning to feel better and with improving self-esteem.

I offer a creative, non-judgmental psychotherapeutic relationship in which you can explore your bereavement, significant loss, depression, anxiety or spirituality at your own pace. Bereavement can leave you feeling lost, alone, shattered, stuck, numb, not yourself, fearful of burdening others and feeling unfamiliar to yourself. Depression can be heavy and draining, while anxiety can be too energising and exposing, and both can be isolating and exhausting. Significant losses - of a job, relationship, faith, health, expectations, even illusions (!) - can also be equally challenging as well as opportunities for befriending yourself.

When it comes to therapy, the process can be life changing or sometimes just very necessary. When clients need to confront issues or make changes, this can be daunting, overwhelming or even confusing. My role as a therapist is not to judge you or tell you what to do; instead I aim to help you see your situation more clearly and guide you towards your own innate wisdom. The clients I work with are ready to embark on this inner journey of transformation gaining better self-awareness, improved self-acceptance and greater authenticity.

I am an experienced psychotherapist practicing an integrative style that draws on the four main theoretical approaches to therapy; psychodynamic (early-life relationships), humanistic (relationship with self), existential (perspectives on life), as well as transpersonal - involving somatic, mindful and creative ways of processing complex material.
Looking for a change in your life? Feeling low, anxious, or stressed? Do you struggle with your relationships? Is there trauma or difficult experience in your past that you would like to process? Would you like to understand your thoughts and behaviours in greater depth?

As a qualified Integrative Transpersonal Counsellor and a certified Clear Beliefs Therapeutic Coach, I work with powerful innovative approaches, such as Clear Beliefs, Voice Dialogue and Matrix Reimprinting, to help you shift and transform limiting beliefs, heal childhood wounds and create inner harmony in your mind, body and soul.
I hold a safe supportive space and incorporate deep therapeutic processes and mind/body techniques to help you access the unconscious layers of your psyche, get to the root of your struggles, resolve inner conflicts, clear limiting beliefs and let go of old patterns. My approach is compassionate, holistic and transformative. Working with me, you will be invited into an enquiry to uncover what’s underneath your struggles – the thoughts, beliefs and wounds you’re holding inside. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of the ways your early experiences impacted your beliefs, behaviours and ways of being in the world.

I offer a safe, welcoming and supportive space to people who are facing difficulty in their lives. Some clients come to see me because of anxiety and stress, or are struggling with a lack of confidence and low self-esteem. Others come to therapy with relationship issues, such as, workplace challenges, loneliness, breakups, or loss. Sometimes, people come for personal development, feeling lost, stuck, or powerless. Working through challenges alone is difficult. Together we can help you manage how you feel, develop your inner resources, and explore the choices you have. Our time together is confidential and we work at your own pace.

Hello! I am an experienced and energetic practitioner I experience many clients saying that they don’t believe that their problems are bad enough, that there must be others in need who are suffering more, or that it is indulgent to go for counselling. If you are finding it hard to cope with life, for whatever reason, remember that you deserve to be heard and that your experiences, memories and feelings are real for you. I walk alongside you as you explore your unique life experiences and bring them for healing. I'm a qualified counsellor and coach. I am also UKCP trainee psychotherapist currently working towards accreditation.

Transpersonal Counsellors
How does transpersonal therapy work?
Transpersonal therapy focuses on a patient’s spirituality and meaning in life. Transpersonal therapists might borrow from Eastern traditions as well as Western psychology. They may incorporate techniques including meditation, visualisation, hypnotherapy, dream analysis, and or breathwork to produce altered states of consciousness. The therapist helps the patient to access their consciousness and spirituality to work through difficult mental states.
How long does transpersonal therapy last?
Because the goal is to understand a person as a whole, including their spirituality, treatment can range from months to a year or beyond. While patients learn the philosophy behind transpersonal therapy during treatment, they can also practice its principles throughout life after therapy sessions have ended.
Is transpersonal therapy effective?
Patients have found success with transpersonal therapy; this method is useful in improving anxiety, depression, self-esteem, identity, fears, relationship problems, and other concerns. Improvements in problem areas can continue even after transpersonal therapy ends, as individuals can utilise the tools they’ve learned during treatment sessions.
What are the limitations of transpersonal therapy?
There is some research on the effectiveness of transpersonal therapy, but empirical support for this therapy approach is sparse. It does not have the robust evidence base of other forms of therapy, such as cognitive behavioural therapy or acceptance and commitment therapy.
