I specialise in supporting parents through the various challenges that being a parent brings. Perhaps you’re a new parent and are struggling to adjust to your ‘new normal’. Perhaps you are struggling with feelings of anxiety, depression, stress, overwhelm or a feeling of being ‘stuck’. Maybe you are experiencing disproportionate levels of anger which you recognise are having a negative impact on you and your family. Perhaps you are experiencing difficulties in your relationship. Is a traumatic birth experience still affecting you? If so, I can help. I specialise in practical & positive, brief therapy.

Play is the child’s nature medium of self-expression – It is essential for development. In the play therapy sessions, the child has opportunity to ‘play out’ their feelings and problems. The intervention has a significant impact on how children view themselves and their future success as students, members of the community, family members, and human beings. Children sometimes experience difficulties and present challenging behaviours. I may contribute to their soul’s playfulness and lightness through the play. Therapeutic intervention plan using non-directive and Integrative Holistic Play Therapy.

Many people know that they want to speak with a therapist, but are a afraid that their 'stuff' might shock or hurt them. PLEASE trust me - I do understand how awful life can be, how cruel some people can be, how we do things to survive that we wish we hadn't. Try me - you will find that I am not going to be shocked or hurt, and that I can listen with understanding, warmth and without judgment, for as long as it takes to put your demons to rest and move on with your life.

I am a Psychologist registered with the British Psychological Society (MBPsS) & the National Hypnotherapy Society. In my practice I use a pluralistic approach to understand and support my clients throughout their difficulties, in a friendly and empathetic way. My previous research in Neurosciences at the University of Oxford was fascinating and gratifying, but my desire to help people led me to this more fulfilling vocation. Sessions last 50 minutes and can be held face-to-face or online, in English or French.

I work with people who feel ready to address some kind of dis-ease in their lives, whether that is an anxiety, addiction, relationship question or stress-related physical pain. Many of these issues take time to address properly although people often experience relief relatively quickly. I worked as a teacher before becoming a psychotherapist, and still like the Greek word for teaching: pedagogy, which has at its heart the idea of accompanying. I accompany people in-person and online, on their journey; I rarely offer advice but work with people to help them understand themselves, what they want, and the best way forward for them.
