As a dedicated clinical psychologist specialising in eating disorders, my mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers individuals to reclaim their lives from the grip of eating disorders and body shame. With over a decade of experience in the field, I have honed my expertise in treating a range of eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and other related difficulties. My approach is deeply rooted in empathy and understanding, recognizing that each person's journey with an eating disorder is unique.
In my practice, I utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Family-Based Treatment (FBT), Motivational Interviewing, MANTRA and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to tailor interventions that meet the specific needs of each individual. I practice from a weight inclusive and anti-fat phobia lens.
I believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can openly explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. I am passionate about the collaborative process of therapy and believe in working closely with clients to set achievable goals, no matter how small it may seem. I also recognise the importance of involving family and loved ones.
