I recognise that in life things can happen to us which are not our fault, but can leave us feeling stuck, lost and sometimes hopeless, without a clear pathway out of these feelings. I can help with making sense of difficulties such as anxiety, obsessive-compulsive-disorder, difficult life experiences which can lead to hypervigilance, dissociation or flashbacks, low mood and strong emotional experiences that can be distressing.
I can also help you make changes in line with what is important to you, to reduce the distress you experience and achieve your goals. I have an interest in working with parents of children of all ages, and I specialise in issues arising in the perinatal period for women and their partners. I can work individually and with couples.
I am trained as a clinical psychologist and specialise in CBT therapy as well as compassion focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and behavioural couples therapy.
